Street Vibes is a weekly web series which provides a platform for the average Grenadian to share their unscripted, raw reactions and opinions on issues throughout the country and by extension the Caribbean.

The show is approximately 3 – 5 minutes in length and will be incorporated as part of a segment in two of our on-air shows as well as a stand-alone web series. It will bring to light issues that affect us most while at the same time adding humour and intelligent discourse.

Every episode is hosted by the talented singer and media personality, Ms. Emily Rapier and promises to excite and entertain viewers while building anticipation for the next week’s release.

Successful Pilot Version

During the Grenada Spicemas Festival, a test version was piloted called “Carnival Street Vibes.” The pilot was widely received resulting in wide coverage on WPG10 with one episode gaining close to 10,000 views online.

The host and film crew travelled throughout the island for the episodes to the most highly anticipated Carnival events and gathered the unscripted, honest and sometimes humorous feedback about the shows from spectators. Our inbox has since been inundated with request from viewers for more shows. Please click on the link here to view.

For each show, participants will have the opportunity to win a sponsored prize after providing feedback on the topic of discussion.

This level of sponsorship allows for the sponsor to gain visibility through the two televised programs on which the segment will be featured. Additionally, the web-based series will also be highlighted on WPG10’s social media networks such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

The host will take some time to mention the name of the sponsor as well as the product or service provided, while also encouraging viewers to support the sponsor and enlightening them on what is offered. The sponsor’s name will appear in the show’s credits at the end of the segment.
