Grenadian Family Brings Case To CCJ
A Grenadian family had their first case management conference before the Caribbean Court of Justice recently, claiming mistreatment by the Barbados Police Force.
The family summarized their ordeal as being bullied and humiliated in Barbados by law enforcement officials. The incident surrounded a cellular phone, with a store clerk claiming theft by one of the family members.
The family members were in Barbados to get their visa renewed when the incident occurred.
The Attorney representing the family is Ruggles Ferguson.
He revealed that a date has now been set for the hearing of the case before the CCJ.
