Male World Athlete Of The Year Nominees

The IAAF has announced their nominations for the male world athlete of the year, 2018.

A three-way voting process inclusive of voting by the IAAF Council, the IAAF family of countries and fans as well can cast their vote for their favorites through IAAF’s social media platforms.

Here are the nominees for Male World Athlete of the Year 2018:

Middle distance runner Timothy Cheruiyot of Kenya.

Sprinter Christian Coleman of the USA

Pole-vaulter Armand Duplantis  from Sweden

Long distance runner Eliud Kipchoge of Kenya

Middle distance runner Emmanuel Korir of Kenya

American sprinter Noah Lyles

South African Long jumper Luvo Manyonga

Heptathlete Kevin Mayer from France

400m runner Abderrahman Samba of Qatar

Shot putter Tomas Walsh of New Zealand

The winners will be announced at the IAAF World Athletes of the Year Awards 2018 on December 4th.
