Grenadians In Canada
Thirty-two men from Grenada are in the Province of Quebec as part of the 2018 Temporary Foreign Workers’ Program, which is an agreement established with the governments of Canada and Grenada.
The new batch of 32 workers received an official greeting and participated in the orientation which was held last Sunday in the town of Rougemont.
Grenada’s Foreign Affairs and Labour Minister, Mr Peter David, who helmed the negotiations said that it was a high priority of government to find employment for its citizens at home and abroad.
Most of the workers will return next month and those who stay behind can further gain income by working on the Christmas Tree farms.
