A Sexual Harassment Bill will be brought to the Jamaican parliament by the end of 2018.
Present conditions of the Bill states that complaints will be brought to a special Sexual Harassment Tribunal.
Individual officers will also be dispatched to assess and acquire information concerning sexual harassment cases.
Minister of Sports, Youth and Culture Olive Grange believes that there is a link between gender and violence and because the issue is complex, it requires a coordinated approach.
The Government will have a special roll-out of public education campaigns on gender-based violence, with focus resting on men, boys, the general youth population and millennials.
