Death By Mosquito Coil?
A nine-year-old boy is dead, and his younger brother has been listed in critical condition at the Sangre Grande District Hospital, in Trinidad under some mysterious circumstances.
Inquiries from the police revealed that shortly after the parents put the boys to bed, a power outage occurred, and a mosquito coil was lit to ward away the insects.
The children, Shalma Motilal and his younger brother Narad Motilal, were later found unresponsive in their bedroom in the morning. The parents then rushed them to the Mayaro District Hospital.
Shamla was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital with younger brother Narad, remaining in severe condition.
Police investigators are waiting on the autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
