WI vs England, First Test, Day 1 Results

In day 1 of their first test match against the West Indies, the English side may have ended the day in a better fashion than the Caribbean side.

At the Kensington Oval in Barbados, The West Indies’ opening batsman John Campbell scored a quick 44 on his debut as the hosts advanced to 89 for one before lunch.

The bowling attack was steady however from England with James Anderson taking 3 wickets with his second new ball spell. Hope, Chase and Hetmyer made it to their half centuries but at the end of the play, the Caribbean side was limited to 264 for 7 after 89 overs.
