Sandals Resorts Withdraws From Tobago
Sandals Resorts International (SRI) has decided to withdraw their participation in the multi-million dollar resort in Tobago.
Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley said that he was disappointed and had hoped that the brand will have propelled the island’s tourism sector.
Earlier this week, SRI said that due to the constant and ongoing negative publicity, they decided to withdraw their participation. Chief Executive officer of the Jamaica-based hotel chain, Gebhard Rainer said that Sandals will redirect its focus on other areas and countries that can be more beneficial to the company.
