New Offer On The Table

After a special meeting held between Union executives and the government team on Friday, it is reported that the Unions have once again rejected the Government’s offer.

The Unions have submitted a new proposal on Saturday and will now await a response from the Pension Engagement Committee.

The Union and staff association claimed that the meeting on Friday was a cordial one.

An agreement was reached on the retirement age but rejected a proposed formulae of 8%. President of the Technical and Allied Workers Union, Andre Lewis said that the team looks forward to the negotiations with Government on the pension restoration.
