More Help For The Youth
The Government of Grenada, according to the country’s leader, Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell, is cognizant of the fact that a country’s true wealth is in its human. With this firmly in mind, the administration will be rolling out new enhancement projects in the upcoming year.
Education and skills go hand in hand and this regard the Government will be developing a sustainable technical and vocational skills structure as part of the national priority.
A national Skills Development Institute will be established in the parish of St. Patrick and a Skills Center will be placed in the parish of St. David. These will help to train young people in a variety of skills such as textiles and clothing among others.
These initiatives, the Prime Minister believes will enhance the skill set whereby employment and even self-employment can be created, which can in turn benefit the entire country.
