Grenadian Athlete Signs On With Puma
Grenadian athlete, Lindon Victor has signed his first lucrative contract with the popular sports apparel company, Puma.
In a statement announcing the contract, he thanked God for his development and his many successes. He recognized the support of his fellow countrymen and his OECS athletics family and shared how he grew up with only one pair of shoes, now he basically has his choice of any.
The 25-year-old represented Grenada in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games in the decathlon where he placed 16th amassing almost 8,000 points.
He achieved the title of two-time NCAA Division 1 decathlon champion while studying at Texas A&M University.
He was named Athlete of the Year for 2017 for the island of Grenada.
