Cuba And North Korea Meet
President of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met in Pyongyang on Monday.
The meeting of the two countries comes just a few days after the United States imposed fresh economic sanctions on Cuba.
State media reports that Diaz-Canel and Kim Jong Un discussed crucial matters which are facing both countries. They also reported that a consensus was reached but didn’t specify details of such concessions.
Cuba is one of North Korea’s last remaining allies in the world.
The leaders shared their socialist history and vowed continued solidarity and cooperation during meetings at the Paekhwawon State Guest House. The Cuban President also said that he was willing to meet all challenges by any hostile forces.
