No Hope For Camerhogne Park
The Save the Camerhogne Park Committee has received some rather distressing news from the government concerning the park.
Mr Jude Bernard, Chairman of the Committee said that the government has dismissed the invitation for joint partnership.
In a letter dated 25th September, the Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation Dr Clarice Modeste-Curwen said that the government wasn’t able at the present time to join the initiative to save the park. To say the least, the Committee is very disappointed with such a response
There have been ardent efforts to save the park, one of the main reasons the committee was formed. They needed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to operate the park but unfortunately was met with resistance from the Keith-Mitchell led Administration.
