Tropical Storm Kirk Reborn In The Atlantic
Kirk has once again become a Tropical Storm in the Atlantic and is heading west, right across the Lesser Antilles. The storm regained its strength overnight with maximum sustained winds now at 45 miles per hour.
The National Hurricane centre said they don’t expect it to reach hurricane strength or even maintain its present strength for very long.
Tropical storm warnings have been issued for Barbados and St. Lucia, while a tropical storm watch has been issued for St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
NADMA in Grenada has encouraged the public to be vigilant and listen to the latest weather forecasts as the system may bring some heavy showers to the area.
